Ticimax is an online e-commerce platform that enables close monitoring of the e-commerce site’s performance through order, product, and reporting data analytics and integration features. However, for digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Yandex Metrica, Facebook Meta Pixel, and Google Ads, the platform offers the Script Management feature for analysis and measurement purposes. This allows third-party codes to be easily integrated into the website1.
Ticimax provides the ability to quickly integrate Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Meta Pixel, and Yandex Metrica services with the website via the Digital Marketing tab under General Settings settings2.
However, due to the rigidity of this integration structure and the presence of special characters in product names as well as theme customizations, errors may occur and data flow may be disrupted. Moreover, this integration setup does not provide a suitable environment for integrating other third-party applications planned for integration.
Upon analyzing the campaign flow, it is observed that the Google Analytics integration initiates the checkout process not with the view_cart event, but with the begin_checkout event, based on the user’s cart page action.
On the other hand, upon reviewing the reference data, it is observed that these integration structures are incompatible with KVKK and GDPR cookie consent management solutions such as Efilli3.
In summary, this initiative was launched to eliminate potential gaps and discrepancies, address e-commerce events through Google Tag Manager, and easily integrate other analytics and advertising services if required.

The installation process consists of the following steps:
- After completion of the procurement process, an email is sent containing a JSON file.
- The JSON file is added to the GTM container by creating a new workspace (merge option is selected).
- Relevant variables are updated (Ads Conversion ID and conversion labels, Google Analytics 4 Measurement ID).
- The tags to be used are activated by turning on previously inactive tags.
- GTM changes are published to production.
The code included in GTM has been prepared according to the standard theme structure provided by T-Soft. Customizations may be required in customized themes. Customization and enhancements are outside the product scope.
